Tips + Tricks: Shop the Sale!

There is no doubt that shopping is the easiest way to instant gratification. However, that gratification is short-lived when you realized you just burned a hole through your wallet. I've always had my friends ask me how and where I find all these good deals on clothes, so I decided to make a list of how to SHOP THE SALE!

  1. Shop off-season: Although you might not be able to wear these clothes the same season, you will definitely save a good chunk of money. Usually stores sell clothes based on the seasons, so during the transition period between seasons, they most likely put out the clothes they are trying to get rid of. I.e Going from Summer to Fall, store will start putting out their Fall items on the floor and leaving the Summer items on the sale rack!

  2. Follow Social Media: If you're like me, you are constant checking your phone to stay updated on social media. sometimes stores have 2-day sales or special coupon codes you can use for a certain time period, but this is only available to those who follow their social media. In addition, it keeps you updates on the sales happening in-stores

  3. Rather-Be-Shopping:  is an awesome blog that is always on top of the best deals and how to get the most bang for you buck! Their blog features online coupons and updates on what stores are having sales. They also have a blog post that illustrates when stores restock their sale rack with new items. This way, you are more likely to find clothes in your size!

  4. Leave the site for a few days: If you put things in your online shopping cart the store will send you an email offering you 10%-15% off your order so you can actually go through with it. Its a simple thing to do, but it all adds up in the end!
These are the tips and tricks that I use to maximize my dollar!
